Pastor Shelley Fix preaching on:
“The Living Bible — The Stories Still Speak”
If we ONLY look at Bible stories as something that happened THEN
instead of a story that speaks to us NOW – we lose the power of its ability TO SPEAK to us.

Luke 6:6-7 (AMP)
6 On another Sabbath He went into the synagogue & taught,
& a man was present whose right hand was withered.
7 The scribes & the Pharisees were watching Him closely
[with malicious intent], to see if He would [actually] heal [someone] on the Sabbath, so that they might find a reason to accuse Him.
8 But He was aware of their thoughts, & He said to the man with the withered hand,
“Get up & come forward.” So he got up & stood there.
9 Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you directly: Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath or to do evil, to save a life or to destroy it?”
10 After looking around at them all, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” And he did, & his hand was [fully] restored.
